Rules
All submitted tracks must be created during online collaboration between at least 2 music makers between November 2020 and November 2021.

Contest organisers do not matchmake artists as this contest is for creative teams formed externally and using remote music collaboration technologies of their choice.

Only 1 track can be entered per musical act. Maximum track length is 9 minutes.

It is completely free to enter the contest and artists retain all ownership of the music that they submit.

All submitted tracks need to be original, no covers allowed. All musical genres are permitted.

Winners can choose to accept the prizes that suit their needs. For example, if you already have digital distribution in place for your track, you don't need to opt in to have it distributed by AWAL/Las Maquinas.

Judges will be assessing the scope of the collaboration as well as the songwriting and music production qualities.

It is critical to explain the collaborative process in detail and credit all collaborators in regards to the roles that they performed in the creative process.

In order to submit the track, you will need to complete the entry form listed below and upload the MP3 or AAC file via the link included in the form. We reserve the right to only assess the submissions with correct file formats.

Accepted file formats: MP3, AAC 320kbps.

Anyone over the age of 16, living anywhere in the world can enter.

All submissions must be in by midnight (AEST, Melbourne  time) on Sunday, 21st November 2021.

The winner will be notified by email by 10th December 2021.

Unless otherwise specified in the prize list above, prizes are awarded 'per track' and it will be the responsibility of the person who submits an entry to discuss with their collaborators how to share it.
